I've started on her first outfit, which will be the yellow and blue gown she wears on the beach. I made up my own pattern for the
bodice, which almost worked on the first try! Here are pictures of the mock-up:

You can see that it's much too loose, so I had to take in a couple seams. The second attempt was much better:
