Everything was made by me except Hermione's white shirt, book, and Ginny's
shirt, pants, and shoes are by American Girl, Hermione's backpack and shoes
are an off-brand, and Hermione's scarf is by my cousin Melissa.
Harry Potter-inspired outfits for Samantha and Felicity as Hermione and Ginny:
The school and Quidditch robes are based on the movie costumes, but I had decided to make my own version of the Yule Ball dress
robes before the forth movie came out, so they are based on the descriptions from the book:
I don't have any boy dolls, so Felicity had to wear
Ron's. His were the most fun to make, I have to
say. Notice the frayed sleeves.
Here is Kirsten as Padma Patil, in robes of "bright
turquoise" as Ron's date. I think they'd look rather
smashing together, don't you?
Kirsten again as Pansy Parkinson with "very frilly
robes of pale pink."
Samantha as Hermione. I was most happy with the results
on this one. I really liked the movie version of her dress,
too, but mine had to be "periwinkle-blue."
We're never given a description of Cho's ballgown
in the book, but I always imagined her in red. Red
velvet is even better. Kaya is the model here.
Ginny's robes are also a mystery, but I always liked
redheads in purple. Modeled by Felicity.
All shoes by American Girl. I also made robes for Harry, Parvati, Fleur, and Percy, but I don't have pictures of them yet.
I am not affiliated in any way with the Tonner Doll Company,
American Girl, Hasbro, Only Hearts Club, or Mattel.
