I am not affiliated in any way with the Tonner Doll Company,
American Girl, Hasbro, Only Hearts Club, or Mattel.
My original plan was to use my first Tiny Kitty (Dream Girl) as Rory, but I fell in love with her red hair. So I bought a new TK,
Cocoa Truffle.  Here she is with a Mystery Squad Drew Barbie I plan to redo as Lorelai.  I think with a little work they could both be
made to resemble the Gilmore Girls, and then I will get right to work on making more clothes for them!  I'm pretty sure everything I
make for these beauties are going to be things I will want for myself as well.
Barbie needs a re-root and I think I'm going to swap her body with a belly button doll so she looks more like a modern woman and
less like she's wearing a corset.  Eventually I'll take Kitty's hair down and probably root her a side part, but I like it up for now.  I have
some more pictures of her below.
I've started on Rory's Chilton uniform!  I have the skirt all pleated and it just needs a waistband and snaps, and the blouse is all sewn
together except the sleeves and buttons.  It should be blue rather than white, but I didn't have any light blue fabric handy.  So this is
the prototype, and I'll make another one later.  I have fabric and ribbon chosen for the coat and necktie, but haven't cut them out yet.
Her bracelet is made from some random beads I had and elastic cord.  It also fits Brenda.
The Gilmore girls' Christmas card:
I made the pants and sweater for Tiny Kitty,
but boots, coat, scarf, and jeans are all old
Barbie clothes of mine by Mattel.  Rory's
shoes are Jakks Pacific.
